Biography
Xin Cheng is currently a PhD candidate of the IIST program at the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Hosei University, Japan.
Xin Cheng received the B.S. and the M.S. degree from Southwest University of Science and Technology, Mianyang, China, in 2016 and 2021. His research interests include physical design, machine learning applications on CAD.
The core research topic of his doctoral stage is to accelerate and optimize chip placement algorithms based on parallel computing platforms.
